The ropes

The Allen&Heath PA20-CP FoH desk of the old Mr. Wolf’s premises in Marsh Street. The beef was often felt thanks to the size and shape of the venue, the speakers and monitors placement, and the closeness between the performers and the crowd all working together.

La casa

My home studio in Bristol a little while ago. A few add-ons and equipment replacements have taken place since the picture was taken but the basics are the same.

About…

Get in touch!

I’m a musician, sound engineer and voiceover actor from Zafra, a little town in southwest Spain, but based in Bristol, southwest UK, since 2001. I have been involved in Bristol’s music scene since day one. First, as an avid listener and, later on, as a guitarist and bass player in the rumba flamenca band El Patio Primo, and the latin fusion quartet Waltrapas, respectively.

At some point in the beginning of the past decade, I started to perform as a solo act and to develop my technical skills in music technology, live sound and audio production. I have been lucky to work with an amazing variety of outstanding bands and artists, in some of Bristol’s most iconic venues, and to get involved in many professional and non-professional projects that have helped me to gradually develop my skills in music and audio technology.

Since 2016, I have been working on the development of my home studio and focusing my efforts on music production, audio recording and mixing. I am also running Panamestiza, a flamenco-latin fusion live band.

In the coming years, my efforts will be focused on developing my audio production skills, recording and producing other artists, while getting involved in many other musical and life adventures.
